Eldar Murtazin is Russia’s best mobile computing analyst - he usually knows about most (if not all) devices at least a month before they actually drop. A source inside Nokia’s has now informed him that an app store is due to drop at this year’s Mobile World Congress:

I personally feel that this is more than likely given the recently-exploding interest the Symbian Foundation has shown in developers. For example, the Symbian Foundation booth will be populated by developers who demo their S60v5 apps (hint: Tamoggemon is included, Monday 10am if Air Berlin manages to get me there); and Carbide has been made free recently.
