Chris Brown Bruised and Bit Rihanna; World Awaits Mug Shot

Chris Brown turned himself in earlier this evening to the Los Angeles Police Dept. for assaulting Rihanna. According to sources, Chris Brown hit Rihanna with his fists and bit her. Chris Brown, who is known for his singing and dancing, also studied martial arts, said the Daily News. The details of why Brown hit Rihanna have not been released. According to a information released by the police to TMZ:

Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us… police took pictures of Rihanna’s injuries and they are “horrific.” As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer’s face — there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.

As reported earlier, following the incident, Brown left Rihanna battered at the scene. The injured singer was then taken to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she was treated for bruises and bites. Rumors were flying today that Brown beat up Rihanna because she gave him herpes. The rumors are unconfirmed. According a rep from Rihanna the singer is “well.” Brown was arrested and was released on a $50,000 bail. The mug shot of Brown, which has begun to be heavily searched for on the web, has yet to be released.
