Coyotes deal Carcillo to Flyers

Bit of a strange trade here.

Philadelphia's acquired Dan Carcillo from Phoenix in exchange for Scottie Upshall and a second-round pick. You can see why the Flyers would like Carcillo, who fits into their drop-the-gloves-often style.

Upshall was a terrific junior in the WHL and a first-round pick, but has so far maxed out as a third-liner at the NHL level. There's a chance he could become more of a scorer, so this is a decent gamble by the Coyotes.
