Chris Brown and Rhianna have cancelled for the 2009 Grammy Awards. Here again is the latest broke earlier on LALATE NEWS. Rihanna is out for the Grammys tonight. Why? No specifics are being given. But ET / The Insider says her face is bruised. How?
The official statement from the Grammy Awards:
“We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening”.
The report from ET says:
Sources tell ET that Rihanna’s face is slightly bruised and no announcement has been made as to who will be taking her place on stage.
ihanna’s reps won’t comment on her health anymore than ““Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support” said to Access Hollywood.
Both were set to perform tonight. Brown was up for two nominations, Rihanna for three.
Brown’s alleged victim is a female, name and age not being released to press because the investigation is a domestic violence.
“Mr Brown is a suspect that we are looking for… we would definitely like to speak with him” says police in a statement to Access Hollywood.
